Stedfast Association

Stedfast Association LogoAssociation of Past Officers and friends of The Boys' Brigade, whose object is:

"To further the Object of The Boys' Brigade, and to foster the spirit of comradeship between past and present members of the Brigade and render service to others."

About:

The idea of the STEDFAST ASSOCIATION was born in London in Centenary Year 1983. It was designed to allow former members of brigade to keep links to the organisation. Associations are now operating in many parts of the world. The first International gathering was held in Singapore in 1990.

Members receive an attractive badge in 4 colours. They also receive copies of the Stedfast News Letter etc.

Names and addresses of members within your area are available to enable you to contact other members. Branches are being set up in local districts so that local "get togethers" can be held from time to time.

Details:

  • Is open to all former Members, and Supports of the Boys' Brigade.
  • It provides a continuing link with the Movement.
  • There is scope for renewing friendships and enjoying fellowship through occasional social activities at national and local levels.
  • Members are kept informed on BB life and activity in New Zealand and overseas through our own Newsletter.
  • The Association has full support of the Brigade Executive, Council, Office Bearers and full time staff.

It was successfully launched over the weekend 4-5 April 1992 in Wellington (Capital City of New Zealand), with some 60 members attending. A spirit of enthusiasm prevailed.
